Re: Callum Marshall
Was away for this so only just catching up... great result for the U21s and a test v Palace tonight.

Saw this tweet from a Colchester fan who sounds as though he knows his onions... I don't think that the U21s are getting the recognition they deserve. 15 games unbeaten now... would be fantastic if they got to Wembley for the final... how many would we take?

Tweet:
Yeah I know..but we’ve played them a few times including games with players like Declan Rice in them. The group I saw this season are best of their u21s I’ve ever seen. Every lad capable on ball, all equally talented with either foot. There was 1 17yo who’d walk into any L1 side

Dr Matt
Hilarious .
It might have been funny if he hadn't scored against LG1.

Great contribution in the game, could have easily scored a couple. I'm convinced under the right manager Marshall and Mubama could play together in our XI. Mubama contributed to the all round great performance. They just combine so well together. With Bowen or Kudus alongside them I really fo feel they would be better than any of the combinations we've had this season

No goals for Marshall. Shows League 2 is his level. Joke.

A great win for the U21s tonight. 4-0 at Colchester. Into the quarter finals.

Re: Callum Marshall
Erm, maybe I know because I read this forum oh and that Moyes is consistent with his set up and he's still West Ham's manager?

You really are a dickhead poster Willwall.....glad it was you last comment on the subject as you are embarrassing yourself with you thick questions.....but you really do lie on here so it's unlikely isn't it......

Fauxstralian 10:32 Tue Dec 5
Re: Callum Marshall
Ferguson of Brighton is possibly a different case as at 18 he is a big unit and looks capable of handling himself
Moyes of course is very conservative and not likely to take chances with young players.
I know Newcastle have lots of midfield injuries but notice they have thrown in 17yo Lewis Miley into games like PSG away & Man Utd. A game where he came up against 18yo Kobbie Mainoo of Man U
If they are good enough they are old enough

Except you were moaning about the football which was why I asked how you knew the football was bad.

And you've shown yourself to be a liar about several things so I just don't believe you...that's my last comment on the subject.

Re: Callum Marshall
See Willwall this is where you are a dickhead poster….I’ve also told you I do watch the youth games as they play a nice style of football….that’s why I tend to comment about those youth players….you dick.

Opinions are one thing to be respected. But when you don't watch games nor stream games, all you're doing is repeatedly moaning on WHO for what purpose? None. You gave up being a fan years ago and you know that's true. .

To claim you know what to moan about because you repeat my post on Moyes' team selection is just ridiculous. That's not an opinion - that's plagiarism.

Manuel - No, it’s a forum to have opinions on you dick….

Re: Callum Marshall
LAF.
Ferguson get minutes in every game when he's in the match day squad. He's had a few injuries. Marshall and Mubama played a .ot of games last season. Both are deceptively quicker and stronger than it appears. Both have a very good injury record compared to most youth players who are quite susceptible to growing pains. Marshall missed a game because of illness but came back and scored in the next game.
Most of Steve Potts team are mainly injury free. Hopefully that continues.
Under a Der Zerbi type manager Both would of had minutes galore this season.
Brighton used 6 u21's against Chelsea.
Their youth are NOT by a long way as good as ours.

The sooner we get rid of Moyes the sooner our club will progress forward not sideways or backwards.

Re: Callum Marshall
Side - Give it a rest ffs, you're all over the place. Let's pick up this debate next season when I'm sure you will give a subjective view on Mubama's qualities, or otherwise, under a new gaffer.

Hmmmm, because there enough posters on here confirming it by by posting this type of thing....

Re: Moyes Out

"Add to that the fact that we don't have an orthodox striker or left winger. So he plays all 6 together rather than buy or introduce new problems for himself. That's why we end up with Paqueta on LW. Soucek as Attacking Midfielder and Bowen as central striker. Maybe that's why we don't buy players to fill these positions?

I reckon that Moyes knows his problems get bigger if he introduces Mubama or Cornet to win the game. If they play well he'll only need to find another reason to drop someone so better to keep them out the side..."

How is Mubama supposed to succeed or give it his best shot at getting in the 1st team if the managers set up is not wanting an Orthodox striker?

Willtell 12:58 Mon Dec 4

Re: Straw Poll: Would you sack Moyes if we lose to Forest?
...I don’t do streams I just catch the result so I also don’t do ‘knicker’ wetting…..Moyes’s football is that bad I don’t entertain it…..I’ll wait on for a new manager and then give them the benefit….. and IF there is any joy it’s few and far between…not enough to warrant any real jubilation…..FOMO about West Ham is now gone for me…..glad you are willing to pretend to put up with it though…

Side of Ham 11:30 Mon Dec 4
Re: Callum Marshall
So Manuel you disagree with me and think that Mubama should be judged on his ability whilst feeding off little to no service as a young striker trying to establish himself under Moyes shit set up?

YOU lost this mince fest of yours when you couldn't state an actual striker Moyes has brought in or had at his disposal that works in his shit system.....it's always been a converted midfielder or winger.....now just mince off.....

Manuel 10:29 Mon Dec 4
Re: Callum Marshall
Side - So I was right the first time, you CLEARLY don't think he can be judged in any way, shape or form while Moyes is here, despite saying earlier that you never suggested that. Don't bother denying it again.

I think he can be (judged) in part. So let's agree to disagree and move on.

Side of Ham 10:05 Mon Dec 4
Re: Callum Marshall
Manuel ANY youth striker will look like his overall game & technique doesn’t look good enough because the position is a poison chalice under Moyes…..some half decent strikers have been made to look like their overall game & technique is not good enough.

He’s hardly the manager to iron out his technique and add to his overall game he basically saps that out of some proper decent players.

Manuel 3:06 Mon Dec 4
Re: Callum Marshall
Right, so he can be judged, in part, despite Moyes, and his overall game, technique etc doesn't appear to be good enough, but like I said he's still got time. Hopefully he will look like Van Basten after Moyes has left.

Side of Ham 7:29 Sun Dec 3
Re: Callum Marshall
Manuel, where did I say Mubama can’t be judged? What I did say is he shouldn’t be judged on playing Moyes’s set up, I say this because every other striker we’ve had has failed under Moyes and a few of them have been established strikers……why?…..he makes them feed off scraps……you give us an example of a senior striker working well with Moyes and it will be a converted midfielder/winger…..

Manuel 7:04 Sun Dec 3
Re: Callum Marshall
What? I'm just giving an example that you can still go on to make it if you still haven't as a striker when you're around 19/20. That's it.
